Bennett has learned to walk

We have a mobile child on our hands now. June 2nd late at night he took his first step. Since then he only has taken a few steps (up to 4) and only when really prompted by us. Well tonight he took off. He spent about 30 mins walking tonight back and forth the living room. He shocked us by even going from sitting to standing without pulling up on anything several times. Watching him grow is so much fun.

1st Father's Day

Brian got to celebrate his first Father's day yesterday. Bennett adores him. I love watching them together. Happy Fathers Day to everyone, including Brian, my dad, my stepdad, my father in law, grandpa, and everyone else!

Gatlinburg Trip

Here are some pictures from our trip to Gatlinburg that was a few weeks ago. We went to the Aquarium, Comedy Barn, Black Bear Jamboree, shopping, and other fun stuff! Bennett loved swiming in the hot tub (we turned it down to feel like a pool!).

Bennett's World

Bennett loves bath time and time in the water! Here is his mohawk that daddy loves giving him :)

He loves going to our neighborhood pool! He hates that hat though. haha

We decided it was time to install a baby gate...He learned to climb the stairs but didn't learn how to gracefully come down them yet.

He is into everything...he loves the plastic container drawer... here he has yogurt all over his face and is staring at mommy through the lid.

He took his first trip to Gatlinburg.

Catch up

Hello everyone! I know I have been neglecting the blog :( I have several post I plan to make soon but I thought I would write a quick word to catch everyone up. We have made it to 21 weeks in our pregnacy and everything seems to be looking great, the baby weighed 12oz last week that they measured by ultrasound. We are trying to get a start on our new baby boy's nursery. Brian is picking up the crib and dresser today and we bought the bedding last week and we already have the new double stroller and the car seat. Hopefully we will get painting in July. Bennett is getting into everything. He is full of personality. He loves water and the pool, we have been spending a lot of time at the pool in our neighborhood. HE is sooo close to walking. He can take about 3 steps before he gets nervous and sits or gets too excited and falls. We are working on getting him to fall asleep in his own bed and stay there. Not going so well. We have tried letting him cry it out but twice now he has gotten so upset he makes himself throw up. He is just very scared of being in a room alone we think. Hmmm , any ideas???? Oh and I am going to be taking my nursing boards soon, wish me luck and pray I find time to study :)

Suprise :)

Well we had a ultrasound with my actual doctor on Wed...and the baby is looking great. Weighing 12oz! But it has an extra part we didn't expect to see :) It's a boy!

We were told at 16weeks by a independant ultrasound place that does gender prediction that is was a girl ( I have yet to call to demand my money back!,lol)....well at 20weeks we found out it is a boy! It was a shocker to us but totally fine! I actually thought it was pretty funny. When will I ever learn to be patient? LOL! We are thrilled Bennett is expecting a baby brother and they will be so close in age! I will post ultrasound pics sooner or later.
