Adoption Assistance Picnic

We went to our homestudy agency's picnic last Sunday and had lots of fun. It was very hot but good to see lots of our friends. Here are some pictures of Bennett enjoying the day!

18 Weeks (late post)

New Ride

I finally got the van that I have been wanting for a long time now. Brian got it for me (My Mother's Day Present late). I am very excited. So far getting Bennett in and out has already been a whole lot easier.

17 Weeks

We have made it to 17 weeks !!!!! We know she is a girl. And I can feel her moving all of the time now :)

Birthday Celebration

I have been celebrating my birthday all week :) Tuesday I took my little from Big Brothers Big Sisters out. She and her family gave me a couple presents and then I got free Carmel Pie at O'Charleys YUM! Wed night I went out with my mom, stepdad, and sister to Jeff Ruby's and to see Wicked. It was a lot of fun. The play was really good. Then on Thursday night Brian took me and Bennett out to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse (my fav!). It was of course Bennett's first time. All of the waiters and waitresses loved him. He was very well behaved thank goodness. We also got to see Mr. Rick Pitino there :) We didn't bother him though. Tonight my whole family is going out for pizza.

Best Buddies

It's A....

Well we found out what Baby Gibson #2 is on Friday.... Thursday I had a doctor appointment and was going to ask to find out the gender before we go to Gatlinburg (I would be 19 weeks) and she said no because she wanted to do the anatomy scan at 20 weeks. So needless to say I was disappointed big time. Brian told me if I found one of those elective ultrasound places that I could go there. Well I did :) and they let us come in on Friday! They were able to tell the sex of our baby. I wanted to tell the family in a cute was so when we went to dinner that night we let my mom cut open a cake I had made to show the gender and I told her it was dyed to show the sex of the baby. Well....

Bennett is Growing UP

Bennett is becoming such a big boy now! He is pushing his toys all over. He is holding your hands and walking (not real walking yet). He has one tooth and is working on his second. He has moved up to his big boy car seat. He is getting closer to being a big brother.
Here he is taking a nap on the couch...with his pillows piled around so he won't fall off :) He loves his daddy!

He has started smiling a whole lot the past few weeks. His personality is really showing now.
