Belly Pics

I am still on moderate bed rest...Baby Brayden seems to be doing great still and my blood pressure is great. Brian has been taking Bennett to work with him the whole time I have been on bed rest. He has done great with him. Bennett LOVES it. So much that anytime Brian picks him up Bennett looks at me and says "Bye" and waves like he is ready to go with daddy to work. Its very cute. They usually dress alike to go do houses.

Dr visit

We went back to see the doctor. My blood pressure was looking great this time! Thanks for the prayers. She liked what moderate bedrest has done for me therefore she wants me to stay on it until the baby comes. Brian has been doing great with Bennett...he goes to work with daddy everyday! It is hard for Brian to do computer work with Bennett so that usually has to wait until night when he is asleep or someone comes to help us watch Bennett. Our family has been big help in watching Bennett here and there when we need it but they all work and have school too! I have gotten out a few times to finish getting what we needed for Brayden...I was determined to have it done incase they made me go back into the hospital or put me on strict bedrest! We go back to doctor weekly now, so I will update after next weeks appointment. I am 35 weeks on Friday this week.

Baby Update

Thursday I had a doctor appointment for a regular 34 week check up. Well my blood pressure was up and I had a trace amount of protein show up. So since it was coming close to the weekend and my doctor would be closed she decided we needed to go to the hospital for 24 hour monitoring. Well that was NO fun. They checked my blood pressure every once in awhile and collected urine for 24hours. They monitored the baby for a hour 3 times. It was really boring and I hated being away from Bennett for the first time. They did get us an ultrasound on Friday before we left. It showed Brayden has lots of long hair. It estimated he weighs around 5lbs 8oz (which could be off up or down). It also showed him practice breathing, which is good to see. So now I am on "moderate bed rest", which means I am supposed to be resting more. I go back to the doctor on Wed. Hopefully I will stay out of the hospital until they decided its time that I deliver Brayden. We are trying to keep me from developing preeclampsia basically. Brayden looks great and I am resting for now :) Thanks for your prayers!

UL/ UK game day

Here are some pictures of the family on the day of the UL/UK game.

Huber's Farm

We decided to have the family go to Huber's Farm to hang out and eat...just incase we can't go in October to get pumpkins since it is close to Brayden's due date. So we had the family go and we fed ducks, went to the petting zoo, shopped and then ate dinner. Bennett on the giant pumpkin
Our little boy lovesssss suckers!

He liked this tractor that bounced up and down...until Grandma got on and they almost fell off! haha

Highview Adoption Get Together

We have been blessed with a wonderful church family which includes lots of adoptive families. We are so happy that Bennett will get to grow up and see other children from Ethiopia. Here are some pictures from the picnic a few weeks ago. Bennett thought the soccer goal was tasty?!
Bennett and Avery love to play together, Avery's brother Dawit was also born in Ethiopia.

Henry's Ark

We decided that we wanted to do a couple things with Bennett before summer ends and Brayden arrives...so we took him to Henry's Ark. It wasn't what I remembered but Bennett enjoyed it a lot and it was great fun for us as a family. Bennett loved feeding the animals and I was suprised he actually fed them all on his own. The zebras were our favorite to feed.
