One year ago today we lost our first baby due (Jordan) to a miscarriage. It was the worst day of our lives. We know it was all in God's plan for our family but it hurt no less. We never knew a year ago that we would be waiting for a beautiful baby boy from Ethiopia today! God has been good to our family and he has been there for our family through our tough times. Thanks to the friends and our family that have been here for us throughout this year.
Today will be a happy day for us as we get to meet with our adoption buddies from our agency! Will post about that later :)

Brooke, so sorry for this type of anniversary, but I also had a miscarriage. God set the lonely in our hearts and had Lola Joy in mind for us. We are so over the moon in love with her and so blessed. Only God can heal the pain and make something so painful become something so beautiful. Thinking of you.
