Well I have made it to 14 weeks in this pregnancy and started to take the "belly pictures" (my sister has been harassing me). So here they are.
It feels great to be 14 weeks pregnant finally. Pregnancy after a miscarriage is hard! Your mind can drive you crazy. You have to remember God is in CONTROL. I set little goals for myself and the pregnancy to help ease the anxiety. First one was seeing the heartbeat. Second one was getting past the point I did with the last pregnancy (7 weeks). Third one was making it to 12 weeks. Fourth one was seeing the baby move and hear the heartbeat outloud. I guess my next one is to make it to my next appointment May 6th and then to find out the gender. Thanks for everyone's prayers! I feel great most of the time now. I also have a at home doppler so I can check for the baby's heartbeat on days I feel a little anxious :)

Introducing...A Little Gibson
Bennett's First Birthday Party
We celebrated Bennett's 1st Birthday with a big Elmo party with lots of friends and family. Thanks to everyone who made that day special for us and Bennett. And for spoiling him a little more :) I cant believe my baby boy is one! It seems like only 3 1/2 months ago we met him... Oh yeah we did! HAHA. Love that boy.

More Gibsons
So I thought today I would make an announcement for our family...We are going to become a family of 4 soon! That's right...........I am pregnant.

We decided when we got home from Ethiopia with Bennett that we were going to start adoption number 2 but shortly after we decided that God told us we have other plans right now and we found out I was pregnant. It's neat to see the way His plan works out. We are thrilled to watch Bennett become a Big Brother. We hope to go back to Ethiopia in the future for another adoption but are so excited that God has planned this pregnancy for this time in our lives.

I am due October 22, 2010. I am officially 11 weeks and 3 days along. It has been killing me keeping it quite for this long. We went to the doctor today and saw a heartbeat for the second time. Our baby is growing great. Although I have been nervous throughout the pregnancy due to the fact we had a miscarriage before I have known that God is in control the whole time. Prayers for a healthy pregnacy and easy transition to a family of four would be very much appreciated. Thanks everyone!

Bennett's First Easter
I am so excited to have Bennett home and especially because we can now start traditions and celebrate holidays together. Of course the most important thing about Easter is the celebration of our risen Christ. Bennett got his picture made with the Easter bunny at the mall. We also had a neighborhood Easter egg hunt, but it didn't go as planned. First Bennett was not feeling well (turned out to be ear infection in both ears) and then it rained. So the "hunt" was in doors and involved seeing the Easter bunny and then picking your eggs out of a bucket. Haha. That evening we had all of our family come over and I fixed my first turkey dinner for them all. It was a lot of fun having everyone together. And my meal turned out good! Right before bed we read the Easter story of Christ to Bennett.
See the poor guy's sad face ? He just wasn't feeling well :(

On Easter Sunday, Bennett got to open his Easter basket, which was Elmo. Then we got ready for church service. Our whole family joined us at our church today instead of being at separate churches like normal. Today was also my mom's birthday so it was great to have her with us as well. After church we went to Huber's Farm (Bennett's first time!!!) to eat. We ate, then took pictures, shopped around, and then Bennett did the Huber's Easter egg hunt which was really fun and really big! After Hubers we visited my Aunt at her house so they could see Bennett.
